How to spot a fake or poor-quality charger

• Very light weight and a loose plug are warning signs.
• Spelling mistakes or blurry printing on the label.
• The charger gets very hot or makes a buzzing noise.
• No safety marks or no rating (V/A) printed.
• Charging is oddly slow or the phone keeps disconnecting.

Buy chargers and cables from a shop that gives a warranty. A good charger costs less than a new battery.
